Vision and Brunch

The Its Unique Families Vision Board and Brunch 2025 was a vibrant, uplifting community event designed to bring families together in a safe, inclusive and empowering space. Held on 25th January 2025 at 103 Church Road, London NW10, Funded by Hill Housing Group, the event combined creativity, connection and celebration. From 3PM–7PM, families gathered to enjoy a complimentary brunch, free desserts and hands-on vision board creation, all within a welcoming, accessible environment.

This wasn’t just a brunch, it was an opportunity for families, carers and children (including those with additional needs) to pause, reflect and set intentions for the year ahead. The theme centred on hope, resilience and not giving up, perfectly reflected in the “Do Not Quit” message and the bold, colourful design of the event branding. Children enjoyed the Kids Fun Day atmosphere, while parents and carers connected with others who understand their journey. The event created space for:

  • Creative expression through cutting, pasting and designing personal vision boards
  • Goal setting and positive affirmation building
  • Community bonding and peer support
  • Inclusive participation for wheelchair users and SEND families

The energy in the room was joyful and purposeful. Tables were filled with magazines, stickers, inspiring quotes and bright craft materials. Laughter and conversation flowed as families shared their dreams from education and wellbeing goals to travel, business aspirations and personal growth milestones. What made the day truly special was the sense of belonging. Every family felt seen, supported and celebrated. The collaborative atmosphere meant everyone left not only with a vision board but with renewed motivation and strengthened community ties.

It was a reminder that when families come together with creativity and encouragement, powerful things happen and everyone genuinely had fun creating something meaningful for their future.
