Spending time by the sea can be a wonderful experience for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The open space, fresh air, sensory-friendly environment of sand and water, and the opportunity to explore nature all provide meaningful benefits. Our beach trips are carefully planned to ensure families feel comfortable, supported, and included, with activities designed to encourage fun, social interaction, and confidence building.

These trips are also a chance for parents and carers to relax and connect with other families who share similar journeys. Many families tell us that these shared experiences help reduce isolation and create lasting friendships within the community.
